Designer Amy Smilovic founded New York-based label Tibi in 1997 after three years in Asia, where she worked with local craftsmen to develop the vibrant prints that have become the label's signature. Inspired by a childhood love of illustration, Smilovic's graphic designs and brilliant use of color have won the label a strong following. We love its sequin-sprayed mini dresses and lace, bead and crystal-embellished gowns.
