Moira Shearer King of Dunfermline, Fife, Scotland, was a Scottish ballet dancer and actress who became internationally famous as the result of her first film role -- as Victoria Page in the ballet-themed film The Red Shoes, 1948.

Moira Shearer, a luminous star in the galaxy of British ballerinas who brought the Royal Ballet to international attention and whose dramatic portrayal as the doomed heroine of the 1948 film "The Red Shoes"








Moira married with scottish journalist Sir Ludovic Kennedy in 1950.

Their story was a long love relashionship till their dieth in 2006 and 2009.
