A day like today-19th April 1956 - actress Miss Grace Patricia Kelly from Philadelphia and HSH Prince Rainier III of Monaco marrying in St. Nicholas Cathedral, in Monaco, in the eyes of the world,who saw really made the most wonderful fairy tale of the twentieth century .
The lovely bride photographed before the religious ceremony by Howell Connant -closed friend of Grace.
The wedding gown was desinged by MGM costumer desinger Miss Hellen Rose and it was a present from the Studios to the future bride.
The dress had clear Renaisse inspiration. Perfect for Grace.
The stunning bride and the bridemaids - between were Grace´s oldest sister Peggy (Kelly) and her twin nieces- at the palace.
At the cathedral.She hadn´t sleep well and months before she had losed six pounds. She was only 50kg! and her height was 171.
The ceremony was Roman Catholic.

The couple taked a tour by Monaco from the Cathedral to the Palace in a Roll-Royce.
