A day like today-19th April 1956 - actress Miss Grace Patricia Kelly from Philadelphia and HSH Prince Rainier III of Monaco marrying in St. Nicholas Cathedral, in Monaco, in the eyes of the world,who saw really made the most wonderful fairy tale of the twentieth century .
The lovely bride photographed before the religious ceremony by Howell Connant -closed friend of Grace.
The wedding gown was desinged by MGM costumer desinger Miss Hellen Rose and it was a present from the Studios to the future bride.
The dress had clear Renaisse inspiration. Perfect for Grace.

{Photo capture of Princess Grace looking with love admiration to President Kennedy in the official visit of Rainier and Grace of Monaco to Whitehouse in 1962. Life magazine pubished this photo whitch went around world that year and it still amazed me. Was any affair between their? I love to imagine how would be Grace Kelly´s life if she would have choosed JFK for husband and not Rainier... Can you see her as first lady. Anyway it never happened and JFK prefered to having an affair with the other blonde Marilyn Monroe.}
